3 Weeks Out + Movement Prep!

Alright Guys, so we are officially 3 weeks away from the 1st Ever Vegas Barbell Beatdown.

Registration will close 1 week prior to the event on April 27th.

I’m almost positive the Beatdown will sell out by the end of this week though. We are currently 75% full!

Thanks to Chad Cole from CrossFit Apollo and Trevor Scelso from Sin City Bootcamp for testing out the WODs.

Here is a list of movements to expect during the Beatdown:

– Double Unders (Maybe Triple Unders?)

– Squats (Front. . .maybe Back. . .maybe Overhead)

– Olympic Lifts (Might be Clean&Jerks or maybe Snatches)

– Running (Oh yah RUNNING! Maybe 100m sprint or it might be 2 miles)

– Handstands (Walks or maybe just HSPU or both) Scaled division don’t fret, we have a scaled version

– Kettlebell Swings, Snatches, SDHP

– Jumping

– Wall Balls

– Toes To Bar

– Carries

–  And of course BURPEES!

 

If you haven’t signed up yet because you were afraid that there would be movements you couldn’t do, here are movements you won’t be seeing at the Beatdown:

– Pistols

– Muscle-Ups

– Pullups

Hopefully this allows you to program for the next 3 weeks if theres anything on the list that you absolutely suck at otherwise you should always be prepared for the UNKNOWN!

The Athlete List Keeps Growing – 30 Days Away!

Alright guys, we are officially 30 Days out from the Beatdown!

We will soon announce some of the movements to expect and things you should be prepping for so stay tuned.
