So we sent an official “Welcome To The Beatdown” email out on Sunday afternoon and most people received it in their spam folder but who the hell really checks that?!
Apologize for any inconvenience but here is what was sent out:
Barbell Beatdown Athletes,
Welcome to the Beatdown! We are officially less than one week away and the anticipation is building. We hope you have been training hard as we are excited to launch the first ever Vegas Barbell Beatdown. The event will run from 9am-3pm on Saturday, May 4th with Athlete check-ins starting at 8:15am.
Please make sure to be on site no later then 8:45am to ensure proper time for check in/registration. At check in, you will receive a tentative itinerary inclusive of your assigned Heats. Our staff is working diligently to ensure a timely event so it is important that you note what Heat and tentative time you are assigned to so we can stick to the schedule. Heats will be released early this week and you will be responsible for being warmed up and prepped for WODs prior to your heat starting. We will post this on the FB Page and Event Website to review. Heats have been assigned at random within your competing group.
Please note that Athletes/Spectators should bring any drinks/ snacks/food desired as we will have limited water/snacks and refreshments on site.
There are 3 WODs in this competition and only the top 10 athletes in each division move on to perform the final WOD #3.
We have tried our hardest to keep the athlete profiles updated on the website but if for some reason we’ve missed you please shoot an email over to campfitforce@yahoo.com subject: “athlete profile” containing an action workout pic, gym you train at and 1RM numbers (deadlift, back squat, clean&jerk, snatch, max pullups).
